Money Awareness

I have noticed, along with most of the rest of you, that there are so many deals out there! Save 50%! No payments for xx months! Buy one get one free! While it may seem we are saving all this money with these deals, is it really a deal if we dont need it? It seems as if you are saving all this money with the sales and deals but really you are still spending money. Again, you are still spending money!
Its tempting to think that you might need that 'something' someday but just make sure you are staying within your means. There will always be another sale.
My boyfriend and I were at Linens and Things for their "Going out of Business Sale" and most of what we observed was people with carts overloaded with stuff!!! And more importantly, when we looked at the prices, even after taking the 50% off, we were shocked to discover that the prices were still more than what you might pay at Kohls, Target, or Walmart.
Bottom line is to be a smart shopper. Make sure the "Deal" is a good deal and especially a good deal for you.
